Delete your account

Applies to the VastraShops seller app for Android and to vastrashops.in

How you delete your account depends on which side of VastraShops you use. Sellers can do it themselves in the app, in under a minute. Shoppers request it from us while the self-service option is being built.

One account, two sides

VastraShops uses a single account for both selling and shopping. If you registered in the app to run a shop and registered on the website to save wishlists, both live on the same account.

Each side is deleted separately. Removing your seller account does not touch your wishlists, and removing your shopper account does not touch your shop. Once the last side is gone, the account itself is deleted along with your name, email address and mobile number.

If you sell on VastraShopsDelete it yourself

Everything is in the app. Nothing to request, no waiting.

  1. Open the VastraShops app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings — the last tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Read what will be removed. The screen also tells you whether you have a shopper account that will survive.
  5. Tick the box confirming you understand, then tap Confirm Delete.
  6. Confirm once more in the dialog that appears. Your shop is removed straight away.

What is removed

  • Your seller profile — name, mobile number, email address, password
  • Your shop — name, address, city, map link, contact number, categories, shop photo
  • Every product, including descriptions, prices, attributes and photos
  • Every image you uploaded or generated with the AI enhancement tool
  • Every collection
  • Your subscription record and plan usage history
  • Your shop's analytics

If you can no longer sign in

A lost phone, or a number you no longer use, means you cannot reach the button. Send us a request instead and we will verify and delete it for you.

Self-service deletion for shopper accounts is being built and will appear in your profile on this website. Until it does, send us a request and we will handle it for you.

What is removed

  • Your shopper profile — name, email address, password
  • All your wishlists and everything saved in them
  • Your browsing history is detached from you, so it can no longer be linked to your account

What we keep

Nothing you created. Your photographs, your shop photo, your catalogue and any images produced by our AI enhancement tool are all deleted along with your account.

We may retain records where the law requires it, for example to meet a tax or legal obligation. Those are kept only as long as required and are not used for anything else.

How long it takes

Deleting from the app is immediate. Your account stops working the moment you confirm and your shop disappears from the website at the same time. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and any remaining copies are removed within 30 days.

Requests sent to us are completed within 30 days. We verify who you are before deleting anything — we may ask one confirming question, and we will never ask for your password.
